Tesco Skipped My Grocery Delivery Slot, Offered Just £5 for the Inconvenience
For more than 5 years, I have been easily spending around £2000 a year shopping with Tesco Supermarket in-store and via their online delivery system. Though obviously not, you would think that kind of allegiance counts for something. Yesterday between six and eight PM was my most recent delivery; nothing showed up. Just stillness, no call or message. When I called customer service, they informed me my was dropped as the driver couldn finish all the deliveries. They volunteered to try and redeliver anytime between 10pm and midnight; by then, our dinner plans had been thrown aside. Given this is not the first time this has happened, I sought adequate pay. All I received was £5 off. To be honest, that is disrespectful. These kind of services have lately become somewhat frequent. I'm going to be moving my company elsewhere.
