My Telegram Account Was Hacked - I Cannot Log In
On August 1st, 2025, I was unable to log into my Telegram account using my phone number. Despite not sharing the verification code with anyone or clicking any suspicious links, an account was created under my name. When I attempted to access this account, I discovered that a password had been set. When I requested a new login code, I received the message: “We have sent your code to the Telegram app on your other device.” I hereby declare that I have never, by my own will, logged into or created a Telegram account on any device other than my personal device. I do not accept any responsibility for any activity performed through this unauthorized account created under my name. I request that Telegram correct this error and proceed with the deletion of the said account. I declare that I am not responsible, under any circumstances, for any legal or illegal activities that may occur through this account, including but not limited to: voice or written messages or conversations made using my number for personal gain; any communication via text, voice, images, video, or links; illegal money transfers; threatening or insulting content; accusatory or defamatory speech; any form of information exchange; legal or illegal actions, events, locations, individuals, financial transactions, weapons, properties, companies, inheritances, accounts; or the spread of information related to threats or suicide. I also reject any responsibility for the defamation or criminal implication of my name. Furthermore, I do not accept responsibility for the unauthorized use of my or anyone else’s profile photo, or for the use of my phone number in fake accounts or platforms. I formally request that the account opened under my name be immediately deleted from Telegram.
