My Telegram Account Has Been Hacked And I Can’t Remove Unknown Devices
I was using Telegram on my iPhone when my account was hacked. On 20 February at around 2:00 am I started receiving OTP codes from Telegram that I had not requested. When I checked my account details, I saw that an unknown device had gained access to my account. Because of this unauthorized access, I could no longer control my account properly and I eventually deleted my Telegram channel, which had approximately 120 to 200 subscribers. Since then, I have not been able to log in to my Telegram account anymore, because the OTP is now being sent to the unknown person who has taken over my account. I have already emailed [email protected] explaining that my account and channel have been hacked, and I also attached screenshots of my account showing the problem, but I have not been able to regain access. I request that my Telegram account be recovered and that full access be returned to me as the rightful owner. I also ask that all unknown devices and sessions be logged out and removed from my account, and that my number and account be secured so that this does not happen again.
