I recently changed my phone number, and now I’ve lost access to my original Telegram account, which was still registered under my old number. Because of this, I had to create a new account with my new number, but now all of my photos, files, and data are stuck in the old account, and I have no way to reach them.
This is incredibly frustrating. Years of personal files, important conversations, and media are no longer accessible. I wasn’t warned that switching numbers would result in permanent loss of access to my previous account.
Telegram, I’m asking for your immediate help. I need to recover my old account or at least retrieve the data stored there. Please provide a way to verify my identity or link the old account to my new number.
