On August 31, 2025, while using the Telegram app on my iOS device, I had a video call with a user named “S L**.” During this call, the other person recorded my screen without my consent. Immediately afterward, I was threatened. The individual told me that unless I paid ₺10,000, they would send the recording to my relatives. I have not made any payment, but this situation has left me under serious psychological pressure and emotional distress.
So far, I have not activated any additional security measures on my Telegram account. However, I have kept full screenshots and evidence of the entire conversation and the threats. Given the severity of this privacy breach, I expect Telegram to act quickly.
I am requesting that this user’s account be permanently blocked, and that Telegram take steps to ensure the unauthorized recording is not shared or distributed in any way. I also ask that my account and personal data be fully protected against such violations in the future. This matter has caused me great harm, and I urge Telegram to resolve it urgently and responsibly.
