On August 26, 2025, during a video call I made through the Telegram application, a short video of me was recorded without my consent and later edited with sexual content. Afterward, I was threatened that this video would be sent to my family and relatives unless I paid ₺10,000. Out of fear, I made the payment, but the threats did not stop.
From what I know, videos recorded on Telegram calls should not be able to be sent as short clips in this way, which makes this situation even more alarming. Despite this, I continue to be harassed and blackmailed. When the threats escalated, I logged out of all my accounts and blocked the individual, but this has not solved my problem.
I have searched for a way to reach Telegram’s support or customer service, but I could not find any channel to report this issue properly. As a result, my victimization continues. None of the actions taken in my name are mine, and I am extremely distressed by the ongoing threats.
I urgently request Telegram to investigate this matter, remove the malicious accounts involved, and provide me with immediate support to stop this harassment.
