The Summer Infant high chair I just bought has caused me tremendous distress, and I am writing to tell you how disappointed and worried I am. The chair gave way unexpectedly when my child sat in it. They might have suffered life-threatening injuries if I hadn't intervened to rescue them. Having used other brands of high chairs with my first child, I can say that this one is the worst. Because of my serious safety concerns, I will not be recommending this product to other parents. The return window is closed, so I can't take the high chair back. However, I feel it is important to share my experience so that other parents are aware of the potential safety hazards.
