Subway Salad Issue in Jacksonville After Mayo Was Added Against My Request

On October 15, 2026, I placed an online order at the Subway in Jacksonville, Texas. One of the items in my order was a salad. While I was still at the store, I watched the employee, a white male worker whose name I do not know because they do not wear name tags, prepare my salad. On the online order, mayonnaise was listed as one of the ingredients, but I did not want mayo and did not notice it on the order before submitting it. As the employee started to prepare the salad, I saw him pick up the mayo bottle. Before he squeezed it, I clearly asked if it was mayo, and he said yes. I immediately told him I did not want mayo on my salad. Despite this, he proceeded to add mayo with a second squeeze and, with an uncaring attitude, said, “That’s what’s on the paper” referring to the receipt. He then put the lid on the salad container and pushed it aside as if my request did not matter. Because the salad was made with an ingredient I had clearly refused in person, I refused to take the salad. No one at the store offered any solution or assistance, and nothing was done to correct the situation. I am requesting a refund for this one salad item, as it was prepared against my clearly stated request while I was standing at the counter.
