If your SteelSeries Arctis 7 headset disconnects while you're gaming, it could be because of a problem with pairing or the software.
First, connect the headset and its wireless emitter again. Turn off the headset, disconnect the transmitter from your PC, connect the transmitter back to your PC, and then turn the headset back on.
Make sure the transmitter is plugged straight into a USB port that works. Hubs should not be used.
The next step is to use the SteelSeries GG program to update the firmware. Get the most recent version from SteelSeries' website, connect your headset, and look for changes. Having trouble connecting can be caused by software that is too old; keeping it up to date may fix the problem.
Lastly, change how your PC's USB power works. To stop the system from turning off the USB port, go to Control Panel > Power Options and turn off USB selective suspend.
If the problem keeps happening, move the emitter so that it has a clear line of sight and get more help from SteelSeries support.
