Stayforlong & Oscar Resort Ignored Name Change Request
My cousin booked and fully paid for a stay at Oscar Resort in Cyprus through Stayforlong. However, due to her mother’s illness, she was unable to travel and immediately emailed both the hotel and Stayforlong, requesting a name change so that someone else could use the reservation instead.
Despite multiple emails and attempts to contact both the hotel and Stayforlong, neither responded. When we personally visited the hotel and spoke with Zeynep at the reception, she refused to help, stating that they could not make any changes. As a result, the ₺11,500 payment was completely wasted.
How can a hotel and booking service ignore a simple name change request and refuse to assist their customers? This is unacceptable! Stayforlong and Oscar Resort, I demand an explanation and a refund! Has anyone else experienced this issue?
