I'm Demanding a Refund After Stayforlong Blamed Me for a Cancellation I Reported

I live abroad, and I made a reservation for my cousin at the Bodrum Park Resort hotel through the Stayforlong agency for the dates July 5-11. After the reservation, the hotel requested residency documents proving we live abroad, so I sent my own residency documents. However, since the documents didn't belong to my cousin, they said they couldn't accept this.
Following this, I emailed Stayforlong, stating that the stay would not take place and requesting a refund of the amount I paid. The company, however, refused to issue a refund, claiming the cancellation wasn't reported in time, and offered no solution whatsoever. As a result, I was charged for a service I never received at all.
I made a total payment of $1,828 through Stayforlong using my QNB Finansbank credit card, and my reservation number is XM15P3. I am requesting that the cost of this service, which I never received, be refunded to my credit card as soon as possible.
