Stanley Thermos Warranty Claim Rejected Without Performance Testing
I purchased a Stanley I.Flow pipetli termos from Anpa Gros on 08.05.2025. The product is under lifetime warranty, but it does not provide the promised performance. It does not keep drinks cold for the period stated by the brand, and the screw on the handle has come off its place, which also affects safe use. Because of these problems, I applied on 06.05.2026 and sent the product for service inspection. However, my thermos was returned to me as “user-related fault” without any heat performance test or detailed technical inspection being carried out. I was not given any information showing that the basic function of the product had been tested, and despite this, it was directly reported as user fault. I was given a service document about this process. When I contacted the Anpa Gros store where I bought the product, I was told that the supply of the product was provided by Gurur Tekstil, but neither the store, nor the distributor company, nor the Stanley brand helped to resolve my grievance. Although the product is under lifetime warranty, my problem has been left unresolved. I paid ₺1,899 for this thermos. As a consumer, I request that a complete and objective technical examination be carried out for my product under warranty, that it be subjected to a real performance test, and that my grievance be resolved by repair, replacement with a fault-free product, or refund as appropriate. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will use my legal rights, including applying to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
