Spotify Canceled My Subscription Without Service, Denied Refund for Unused Month

I have been a long-time Spotify user, initially signing up while living in Turkey. My family and I subscribed to the family plan, with payments automatically deducted from my account. After my spouse and I moved abroad, some family members continued to reside in Turkey, so we kept using the plan as usual. This month, I was surprised to find my subscription canceled. I tried reactivating it, entering my payment details for a ₺99 charge, assuming there wouldn’t be any issue. However, Spotify canceled my account the next day due to my new location and refused to refund the payment for the unused month. They also canceled my previous month’s access five days before the period ended.

It’s unreasonable for Spotify to charge upfront without providing service. If they were going to cancel my access due to my location, they should not have processed my payment or denied me the service I already paid for. Spotify, please issue a refund for the unused period, or at least honor the full month’s access I paid for. International companies operating in Turkey should be monitored to prevent these kinds of unfair practices.
