Spirit Airlines Customer Service Charged Twice For Seats

In contrast to Frontier Airlines, making a reservation was quick and painless. Digging more into the site reveals that there are fees associated with baggage (neither checked nor carry-on bags are free). Well, considering the price of the ticket, that's acceptable. Next up, your seat. The total cost of the flight is now higher than that of competing carriers. Just an hour before my scheduled departure last week, my flight was canceled. A subsequent flight, with a connecting stop, was rescheduled for me eight hours later. The seat charge from the canceled flight was also not reimbursed, and I had to pay for picking a seat again. Instead of providing solutions, customer service only listens. I have never met such terrible customer service.
