Lost Access to Old Snapchat Account After Phone Update

After my phone updated, the Snapchat app was deleted, so I reinstalled it. While trying to log into my old account, I accidentally created a new one. Since I forgot the password for my old account, the new Snapchat account was linked to my phone number, and now I can't access my previous account. I would greatly appreciate any help in resolving this issue. I sincerely hope a solution is found so I can regain access to my old account.
