Skyscanner Shows Three Different Prices for the Same Flight
I actively use the Skyscanner app both on my iPhone and on my computer. I travel often and regularly plan trips to different parts of the world, and I search for flights almost every week for different dates and routes. However, because of an ongoing issue that has been happening for a long time, I feel seriously misled.
When I search for ticket prices for any destination in the app, the price I see on the first screen does not match the price I see on the next screen. On top of that, when I’m redirected to the airline or booking company’s page, I see a completely different price there as well. In other words, I end up seeing three different prices in a row for the exact same flight. This is both damaging to trust and puts me in a difficult position financially and emotionally when I’m trying to plan travel.
I am requesting that Skyscanner identify and fix the technical issue causing these price inconsistencies as soon as possible, that users not be put at a disadvantage this way, and that the prices shown in the app and on the website be consistent and transparent at every step of the booking process.
