Skyscanner Shows $15 Flight, Price Jumps to $39 at Checkout
On January 2, 2026, while browsing flight tickets on the Skyscanner website for a Turkish Airlines Trabzon–Istanbul flight dated February 5, 2026, I saw a discounted price of approximately $15 displayed on the screen. However, the moment I clicked on this ticket, the price suddenly increased to around $39.
I consider this large discrepancy between the displayed price and the price shown after clicking to be misleading. As a user, I expect that the amount shown on the search results screen should be close to the price I see on the payment page.
I am requesting that this issue be properly investigated, that Skyscanner correct the way prices are displayed on its platform, and that users are no longer misled by such pricing practices.
