I’ve been repeatedly misled by Skyscanner, Etstur, and Ucuza Bilet while trying to purchase international flight tickets. The prices listed on their websites look highly attractive, but when I attempt to book, the tickets cannot actually be issued. It’s a complete bait-and-switch experience.
When I call customer service, I'm kept on hold for up to two hours. Once connected, they continuously transfer me between different departments without solving anything. Eventually, someone calls me back and says I can complete the booking—but only if I agree to pay an extra ₺1,000 per passenger on top of the initially advertised fare.
This feels deeply exploitative, especially since these companies are supposedly IATA members and, in one case, even linked to someone in public office. I’m calling on authorities to investigate these companies and hold them accountable. Consumers deserve real prices and honest booking processes—not false advertisements and hidden charges. I demand that these platforms be audited, and that such deceptive practices be banned.
