I see a much wider variety of fares and classes available when I search directly on the airline's website compared to what Skyscanner shows me. Why doesn't it list all the options?

Skyscanner prioritizes finding cheap flights. Thus, it may display cheaper fares and exclude business class and last-minute flexible bookings. Skyscanner collects data from many airlines and OTAs, but it may not include all of them in its search results, limiting the number of fares and classes.

Airlines may offer exclusive deals or incentives for booking directly through their websites, which Skyscanner may not offer. Some airlines limit their fares to third-party platforms, further limiting Skyscanner's initial search options.

Users can parallel search for the same flight on the airline's website for more options. This may reveal Skyscanner-unseen fare classes or last-minute deals. Users can also try Skyscanner's search filters, such as "Price" or "Airline," to find more fares. Alternative flight search engines may reveal more deals and airlines than Skyscanner.
