Skyscanner showed a cheap fare, then the price jumped, how can I lock the first price?

If Skyscanner showed a cheap fare but the price jumped before you could book and you want to lock the first price;

Contact the airline or booking partner shown on Skyscanner with a clear escalation;

• State that Skyscanner displayed a lower fare which changed at checkout
• Provide the route, travel dates, passenger count, original price shown, and the higher price at checkout
• Include screenshots of the Skyscanner result page and the price jump on the partner site

Ask them to;

• Confirm whether the original fare was still available at the time you clicked through
• Explain why the price changed (fare class sold out, cache delay, dynamic pricing)
• Honor the originally displayed price if it was still valid when selected
• Offer an alternative at the closest possible price if the fare truly expired

If you can’t lock the price or support won’t help;

• File a complaint on Xolvie to report misleading fare display or price jumps and seek help escalating the issue
