Skechers Shoes for My Daughter Stopped Working After 1 Month and Velcro Peeled Off

Hello, I experienced some issues with the Skechers shoes I purchased for my daughter in April 2024, just within a month. The light on the left shoe stopped working, and the brand name on the Velcro straps peeled off quickly, making the shoes look worn out. I went to the Skechers store in Vadi Istanbul, but since I bought the product online, the store couldn’t provide any support. I then contacted customer service to request an inspection and sent the shoes back to the seller by courier. After a while, I was informed that the issue was not production-related, and my request was rejected, with no solution offered.
There was no after-sales support at all. My daughter is 8 years old and has worn different Skechers models for over a year without any problems. However, with this particular model, the light stopped working, and the Velcro peeled off in just 1-2 months, which leads me to believe the product is defective. Wanting the best for my daughter, I paid full price at the beginning of the season for what turned out to be a defective product. I have also filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board, but there has been no result yet. Recently, I have started to believe that Skechers shoes have dropped in quality, and I wouldn’t recommend shopping here for your child. Let me write before you do; they offered no solution. On top of that, they said there was no manufacturing defect, it might be maintenance-related. I couldn't figure out what kind of maintenance they think was done on a 1-month-old shoe. If you buy this brand, which has a very poor after-sales experience, you will clearly be a victim.
