Skechers Oak Canyon Shoes Tore After One Month and Warranty Claim Was Rejected

I purchased the Oak Canyon shoes on May 1st, but since they are winter shoes, I only began wearing them in the past month. Unfortunately, within a very short time, the shoes developed deformations and tears on the sides, which has been incredibly disappointing in terms of quality. I’ve handled them with care, so encountering this issue has been very upsetting. I submitted a warranty claim through skechers.com to have the shoes inspected, but it was rejected, with the company claiming the damage was due to user error—despite the fact that the shoes have been worn for only one month. What makes this situation even harder to accept is that I still use another pair of Skechers shoes I purchased 5-6 years ago, while these new ones are already in such poor condition.
I went to the Consumer Arbitration Board and got my refund. My advice to those experiencing problems is to go and seek your rights.
