Sixt Hasn’t Refunded My Deposit Days After Return

I rented a car from Sixt in Spain on the 25th of the month and returned it the next day, on the 26th. It’s now been 5 days, and I still haven’t received my deposit refund, nor have I gotten a clear update. Every time I ask, all they say is that “the review is ongoing.”
There was no accident, no damage, and nothing wrong with the vehicle. During the rental process, they clearly stated the deposit would be refunded within 24 hours if everything was fine. That promise has not been kept. What’s even more frustrating is that Sixt Turkey can’t reach Sixt Spain, and there seems to be no internal communication across countries.
Once you leave the country, it becomes nearly impossible to track or enforce anything, and customers are left in the dark. This lack of clarity and accountability has destroyed my trust in Sixt. I will absolutely choose a different rental company next time, and I warn others to be cautious. I expect a full explanation and my ₺ deposit refunded immediately.
