Similac Pro Advance Formula Fishy Smell

We've been using the Similac Pro Advance formula for 7 months, and it has been working well for us. Unfortunately, the most recent package we opened had a very unpleasant odor and had a flavor reminiscent of fish oil. Our child is being quite stubborn when it comes to drinking, and we're having a hard time getting him to eat, so we're trying different approaches. Before giving it to our little ones, we always make sure to sample the formula. However, there seems to be something off about the taste of this particular package.
