I purchased my Siemens WG52A200 washing machine from Siemens Erkmen in Alanya, and my invoice is registered under the name Recep Ç***. From the very first day, whenever I put fabric softener in the compartment, it has been leaking down from the drawer and the cover area. When I informed the service about this, they claimed that I was overfilling the softener, but I have been using washing machines for years and have never experienced such a problem, even with lower‑quality brands. While still within the warranty period, the machine’s door developed a fault and the service came and repaired it. Now, about 3–4 days ago, the door gasket (rubber) has torn and mold has also started to form around this area and inside the machine. In just about two years, this washing machine has had three different faults, and I do not find this normal for a product in this price range. Siemens service has told me that they can replace the torn gasket only for a fee of ₺2,000 and still insists that the softener issue is “normal,” which I do not accept. I chose Siemens trusting its quality, but I feel that my money has been wasted and my trust has been broken. I believe there is a problem with this series, because a machine that fails this often in about two years will likely cause even more problems in the coming years. I do not want my money and effort to go to waste, and I do not want to leave such an expensive product to “luck.” I request that my washing machine be replaced with a new one without any charge, and that the recurring faults, mold formation and the softener leakage problem be taken seriously and investigated. If my grievance is not resolved and my victimization is not eliminated, I will continue to seek my rights and share my experience on social media and all relevant platforms.
