Today, I experienced another frustrating issue at Sephora. After purchasing the Huda Beauty mini powder, I opted to put it in my bag without requesting a shopping bag since it was a small item. Later, I decided to ask for a perfume sample. However, the staff member seemed to doubt my purchase and asked, "What did you buy?"
I felt compelled to take the item out of my bag to prove my purchase, which was an incredibly awkward and unnecessary situation. As a loyal customer who has shopped here multiple times, I was embarrassed. It feels like customers have to beg for testers.
This isn’t the first time I’ve been denied testers—previously, I had to insist on my honesty to receive one. It even felt like testers are intentionally withheld. Sephora should treat its customers with respect and transparency, especially when they make regular purchases. I expect better service and a fair customer experience.
