My Segway GT2 Max Shut Down While Riding and Warranty Was Denied

I purchased a Segway Ninebot GT2 Max electric scooter from Şengüller on April 17, 2026, for approximately $757. After only four months of normal and careful use, the scooter suddenly powered off while I was riding on July 30, 2026 and would not turn back on.
When I took the scooter to an authorized service center, I was told that the motor cable had become twisted, requiring the main control board (motherboard) to be replaced. I have never opened the motor cover, attempted any repairs, or performed any disassembly on the scooter. In fact, I do not have the technical knowledge to perform such work. Despite this, I was informed that the failure was considered customer-caused damage and therefore would not be covered under the warranty.
I do not accept the conclusion that this malfunction resulted from user error. The scooter was used under normal operating conditions, with proper care, and the failure occurred unexpectedly during ordinary riding. Since I did not make any modifications or interfere with the scooter's components, I believe the issue should be evaluated as a manufacturing or mechanical defect rather than customer misuse.
I request that Segway reevaluate my GT2 Max under the terms of the warranty and provide a free repair. If the scooter cannot be repaired, I ask that it be replaced with a new unit. I also request a detailed and transparent technical explanation supporting the warranty decision and a fair review of the conclusion that the failure was caused by user error.
