Segway Warranty Service Ignored My Ninebot F2 Repair Request
I purchased my Segway Ninebot F2 electric scooter about one year ago, and it has been charged fewer than 100 times since I bought it. On July 16, 2026, while plugging the scooter in to charge, the metal tip of the charger became lodged inside the scooter's charging port, causing the charger to separate from its connector. The scooter can no longer be charged properly because of this unexpected failure.
On July 17, 2026, I contacted the phone number listed on Segway's official website and opened a warranty service request. I was told that the authorized service center in Konya would contact me on Monday, July 20. When no one called, I contacted customer service again on Thursday, July 23, and was once more told that the service center would reach out to me. After still receiving no response, I called again on Friday, July 24, explained that the Konya service center had never contacted me, and asked for their phone number so I could call them directly. I was informed that customer service did not even have the service center's contact information, and once again no one followed up with me.
My scooter is still covered by its warranty, and I expect this defect to be handled through the authorized service network. I request that the scooter be inspected under warranty and repaired if possible. If the defect cannot be repaired, I ask that the scooter be replaced with a new unit under the terms of the warranty. I also expect Segway to improve communication between its customer support team and authorized service centers so customers are not left waiting without updates or assistance.
