I’ve been using Sebamed 50 SPF sunscreen for a few days now. Before this, I was using a local brand and was generally satisfied. Since the summer is hot, I switched to Sebamed, thinking it would offer better protection for my skin. In just three days, I’ve turned completely dark, like a different person. I’m not even exposed to the sun that much—I do outdoor exercise for an hour at 7:30 AM and sometimes swim around 6 PM. That’s it.
The local sunscreen I used before would come off easily with sweat and water, yet still protected my skin color. Sebamed, however, sticks to my face like glue, doesn’t wash off with sweat or water, and yet somehow fails to protect my skin. It feels like I’ve turned into a flashlight without even seeing the sun! What exactly is Sebamed supposed to do? I’m really disappointed and would like some answers.
