I recently purchased the Sebamed sunscreen from Platin store, thinking I was investing in a high-quality, dermatologist-recommended product. I paid ₺500 for it, assuming a reputable brand would deliver safe and effective skincare. But from the very first application, I was left completely disappointed and in pain.
When I applied the sunscreen, it didn’t absorb at all—it just sat on my skin like white chalk, leaving my face looking ghostly and unnatural. It wouldn’t blend no matter how much I rubbed. Within minutes, my skin began to react. I noticed red bumps forming and a burning sensation started to spread across my face. Now my skin feels raw and irritated, and I’m honestly afraid to use any products until this clears up.
I trusted Sebamed because of its reputation for being gentle on the skin, but this experience was anything but gentle. I feel completely let down and misled. For the amount I paid, I expected far better quality and safety. I am requesting an immediate refund and would like Sebamed to take responsibility for the skin reaction this product caused. This sunscreen should not be marketed as suitable for sensitive skin if it causes such irritation.
