Samsung TV Keeps Changing Satellite Settings Automatically
My Samsung UE50TU7000UXTK model television has been experiencing an issue for some time where it automatically disables DiSEqC mode and changes the satellite name on its own. This problem has been ongoing for about a year and occurs every two days, making it very difficult to use the TV normally.
When I contacted Samsung customer service about this issue, they only offered to open a paid service request. However, after reviewing online comments and complaints, I found that this is a widespread issue affecting this model. Despite this, I do not believe it is appropriate to treat the problem as user error and push it entirely as a paid repair.
Even though the product is out of warranty, I request that this clearly recurring software/technical issue be properly diagnosed and resolved, and that no service fee be charged for this process. Otherwise, I would like to state that I am considering filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
