Samsung Trade-In Campaign Deception Fooled Me for Galaxy S23 FE

The following situation is an informative and experiential account related to the Samsung device trade-in campaign. Samsung customer service is unable to resolve this issue and insists on the error made. The device value is determined by the technician's arbitrary decision. There is no phone valuation chart or evidence provided. Due to the completion of the phone exchange process, it is difficult to go back, and customers are deceived with the trade-in campaign. Summary: On November 13, 2023, I purchased a Galaxy S23 FE phone as part of the exchange campaign. My issue is related to the exchange campaign. I sent my S20 FE phone, which was determined to have a preliminary evaluation fee of 9500TL (with trade-in support), to you. Today, customer service called and stated that the value of my phone, along with support, has been determined as 7750TL. The reason for the deduction was reported to be scratches on the casing. Despite my phone being under warranty and used with a protective case, I questioned what kind of casing scratch could cause such a deduction. When I requested to provide evidence, detailed examination was claimed to have been conducted, and it was stated that the determined price would not change. From this point on, I had no choice but to accept it since there was no chance to withdraw. However, as a customer who uses 2 Samsung TVs, 2 Samsung televisions, headphones, and a smartwatch at home, I want to express my discomfort with this situation. The issue is not the deduction made but the fact that this process, solely based on the existence of scratches without any explanation and without providing evidence, is entirely wrong. As a customer who previously recommended your brand to others, I commit to not speaking positively about your brand in the future and explaining how wrong this process (in my view, a campaign deception) is. I hope the deduction you made is worth all of this. Additionally, considering this negative experience, I hope this deduction serves as a lesson for your brand.
