Recently, I took advantage of Samsung's trade-in offer and purchased the S24+. My previous phone was the S10+, which I had for 2.5 years, and I know it had no defects because I took good care of it. The offer they initially presented for the phone was ₺5,500, excluding additional exchange support on the site. However, they contacted me today and claimed their offer was only around ₺1,800, excluding exchange support. They stated that burning was detected on the screen, which I know for a fact is not the case.
When the representative called to explain what screen burn is, I found it incredulous. I am well aware of what screen burn means and how noticeable it is when it occurs. There is definitely no screen burn on my phone. The representative offered two ludicrous options: either accept the offer or request the phone to be sent back.
I want Samsung to thoroughly review this phone, which I have owned for less than 3 years. I expect them to rectify this absurd offer, which is nowhere close to the ₺5,500 offer initially presented to me. Otherwise, it will demonstrate that they are a company that puts the customer in a naive state by simply saying "we've already sold the new phone, and we don't care about the rest." This does not align with the brand I have trusted for years.
Rest assured, I will dissuade anyone looking to benefit from the trade-in campaign by leaving negative feedback on various social media platforms. (I've requested them to send the phone back, and once I receive it, I will share evidence disproving the screen burn in another complaint.) I urge Samsung to respond promptly and provide a suitable resolution!
