Samsung Refused to Replace My TV with 5 Dead Pixels and Deformation
I purchased a Samsung television with the model number UE65DU8500UXTK on 24.03.2025. When I received the product, I noticed that there was a deformation on the chassis. This physical damage was present from the moment I first turned on the television and was definitely not due to user error. The frequent occurrence of similar problems with Samsung products makes me doubt the quality control processes. I chose the product based on my trust in Samsung's quality, but it is highly likely that such a physical defect occurred during the manufacturing process. At the time of delivery, there was no damage to the product box. This situation has caused me to suffer both aesthetically and in terms of long-term use. Although the service returned to me and informed me that 5 dead pixels and deformation around the product were detected, no replacement was approved. When I contacted the solution team, they said that 4 dead pixels were required for replacement. However, my product has 5 dead pixels and deformation around it. Therefore, I stated that my right to exchange should be fulfilled. In addition, every consumer should know that even if there is 1 dead pixel, the product is considered as "defective goods". Samsung's own figures on this issue have no legal basis and these statements are just misleading words. As someone who buys Samsung brand products despite all the obstructions and mistakes of Samsung Turkey, I need your support. I am waiting for your support on this issue.
