Samsung Refrigerator E10 Error and Internal Leak Render Unit Unrepairable

I purchased a Samsung model RB50R334SA refrigerator approximately 4 years ago. On August 13, right after the warranty period ended, the appliance displayed an E10 error code and completely stopped cooling. Following an inspection and nitrogen test by authorized service technicians, I was informed that there was an internal body leak in the refrigerator and that it was unrepairable.

Even though the issue was not caused by user error, Samsung cited the expired warranty and requested that I pay roughly half the price for a new appliance. I find it unacceptable that a 4-year-old refrigerator becomes completely unusable right after its warranty ends due to an internal leak. This situation causes significant hardship for the consumer.

I was told I would be sent an upgraded model; however, when I saw that the proposed product was actually an older model with lower specifications, I rejected the offer. I also consider the requested additional fee to be exorbitant. Despite leaving numerous callback requests with customer service for days, no one has called me back, and I cannot reach a qualified representative to discuss the matter in detail.

During my research on this same model, I found nearly 80 similar consumer complaints. This leads me to believe that my issue is not an isolated incident, but rather a recurring and chronic defect with this model. If a replacement product is provided, I do not want to go through the same issue again.

Therefore, to resolve my current grievance, I demand that an equivalent or higher-tier refrigerator model be provided to me at no extra charge, along with a 7-year warranty on the new unit. Being victimized by a failure not caused by user error and being asked for a high fee for a resolution has severely damaged my trust in Samsung.

I request an immediate resolution to my issue and a fair, permanent solution; otherwise, I will exercise my legal rights as a consumer.
