Samsung Offers App Glitch Blocks Buyer from Claiming $416 TV Promo Coupon
On July 10, 2026, I purchased a 98-inch Samsung 98DU9000 4K UHD Crystal TV through Teknosa. The same invoice also includes a Samsung HW-B450F 2.1 Channel Soundbar. I have the invoice and product details for this purchase on hand.
A major factor in my decision to make this purchase was a Samsung promotion offering a $416 coupon. In other words, this campaign was one of the primary elements that directly influenced my buying decision.
However, the "Samsung Offers" app, which I am required to use to claim the promotion, does not work properly on iPhone/iOS. I am experiencing issues like a blank white screen, pages failing to load, and processes getting stuck. Because of this, even though I made a qualifying purchase and can easily provide my invoice, I am unable to claim my $416 coupon.
I have contacted Samsung customer service multiple times regarding this issue. Yet, during every call, they simply repeated the same standard troubleshooting steps without offering a concrete solution to my technical problem. I was told to try the app again, log back in, or repeat similar steps. Even though I have already done these things multiple times, the problem persists.
The frustration here is not caused by me failing to meet the promotion conditions. The problem stems entirely from the fact that the app Samsung makes mandatory for this campaign does not function properly. It is completely unacceptable for a consumer to be deprived of a $416 promotional reward they rightfully earned just because of a technical glitch in Samsung's own app.
I purchased the product specifically keeping this promotional advantage in mind, and I can clearly document my purchase with my invoice.
My demand from Samsung is this: instead of repeatedly directing me to a broken app, they must verify my invoice and promotion eligibility, and manually apply the $416 coupon to my account or issue it to me directly.
I no longer want customer service to repeat the same basic instructions; I expect them to take concrete action that will actually resolve this issue.
