Samsung 55TU8000 Crystal 4K Ultra HD TV Screen Failure After Warranty
I purchased the Samsung 55TU8000 Crystal 4K Ultra HD TV around 3 years ago. After the warranty expired, the display malfunctioned, leaving only sound. To make matters worse, the TV started turning on and off by itself. Upon calling Samsung service, they swiftly decided on a screen replacement, quoting a hefty ₺8,500 for the repair – a sum that could practically buy a new TV.
The repair cost demanded is exorbitant, making it impractical compared to purchasing a new unit. As a loyal Samsung customer who has preferred the brand for various products, this experience has shifted Samsung from a preferred choice to a brand I will no longer consider.
I urge Samsung to provide more affordable solutions to its customers. Otherwise, I may not only refrain from future purchases but also dissuade others from choosing Samsung. Additionally, the prompt decision by the service team to opt for an expensive repair method raises concerns about prioritizing Samsung's interests over customer satisfaction. I request a revision in the repair cost.
