My Samsung TV’s LEDs Burned Out Three Times in 7 Years

On June 23, 2016, I purchased a Samsung UE50KU7000U LED TV. When the LEDs burned out on September 4, 2018, I had to pay for the repair. Exactly one year and four days later, the LEDs failed again. The authorized service came on September 8, 2019, and I had to pay for another replacement. This year, on January 19, 2024, the LEDs burned out yet again. I paid for the service visit, but the LED replacement cost was quoted at 6,000 TL. Expecting a free replacement, I was only offered a 20% discount by the Samsung Call Center at 444 77 11. Samsung is not standing behind its product. Their LEDs are clearly substandard, and this recurring issue is unacceptable. Even my local store guarantees LED bulbs for at least five years, including service costs. Samsung’s call center offers no solutions. Shouldn’t I get a free replacement?
