I Received a Faulty Samsung Dryer Whose Door Won’t Fully Close and Was Denied a Replacement
I purchased a Samsung dryer, and right out of the box, I noticed a serious flaw—the door doesn’t fully close. There’s a visible gap where the hatch fails to seal completely. I contacted Samsung support, and a technician came to inspect the issue. Shockingly, they told me that a 3mm gap is “normal” and doesn’t affect the function, so they refused to acknowledge it as a defect.
I then requested a replacement, but Samsung outright rejected my request, claiming there was no problem with the product. I’m now stuck with a machine that doesn’t close properly and a company that refuses to take responsibility for a clear manufacturing flaw.
I paid good money for a premium appliance and expected better quality and customer service. This is unacceptable, and Samsung has done nothing to resolve my complaint or compensate me. If you're considering a Samsung dryer, beware—they don’t stand behind their products once they’ve made the sale. I’m extremely disappointed and demand that Samsung replace or properly repair this defective machine.
