Salomon XA Rogg 2 GTX Waterproofing Failure
I purchased the Salomon XA Rogg 2 GTX shoes on March 10, 2023, and within six months, they started letting water in. Upon reporting the issue to the retailer, they acknowledged the defect, offering a refund for the faulty product. However, if I wanted a replacement, they insisted I pay the price difference for a new pair.
Money is a means of exchange, and once paid, it should secure the product. I expected them to offer a product-for-product exchange. If your product has value, so did my money. Had I chosen another brand without issues, I wouldn't be paying extra now. It's time for a reevaluation of your product warranty policies.
