I have been playing Valorant on PC through the Riot Games client for about two years, and because I am a woman, I face almost the same problem nearly every day. During matches, I am constantly insulted by my teammates because of my gender and exposed to profanity and degrading, sexist remarks. On top of that, I frequently end up on teams with players who intentionally troll, deliberately block my gameplay, and cause rounds and entire matches to be lost on purpose.
Even though I have reported these players many times, I have not seen any action taken against them. I have started to feel that my reports are completely ineffective, because despite blocking these players, I keep getting matched with the same people again, and the same harassment and trolling behavior continues. I also reported these incidents to Riot via email, but I did not receive any concrete response through that channel either.
As a female player, I do not feel safe or valued in the game. Constantly hearing insults, being exposed to sexist language, and seeing no punishment given in return destroys my morale and completely ruins my enjoyment of the game. On top of that, because of this toxic behavior and intentional trolling, I have lost many matches and ranking points.
What I expect from Riot Games is that players who harass me and others like me, who engage in sexist and toxic behavior, are identified and given the necessary punishments, including bans. I also request that the ranking points I unfairly lost due to these behaviors be restored. Additionally, I want a more effective system to ensure that players I have reported and blocked are not matched with me again.
