Riot Games Failed to Act on Serious Verbal Abuse in League of Legends

While playing League of Legends on Riot Games’ Turkey server on 05/12/2026 at approximately 4:07 PM, I was subjected to extremely serious verbal abuse through the in-game chat system while playing on my account named l**. The in-game username of the player involved was h**1.

During the match, I only used the phrase “buy Warmog, bro,” referring to the game itself. In response, the other player began insulting my mother with offensive language. I then explained that my mother had become a martyr between 2013 and 2014 and asked the player to speak respectfully. Despite this, the player continued using hateful language and severe insults. All of these conversations took place through the in-game chat, and I have screenshot evidence documenting the incident.

Even though I opened a support ticket with Riot Games regarding this matter, I did not receive any meaningful outcome. Due to the player’s hateful speech and extremely offensive behavior, I request that the account h*** be permanently banned and that the related chat logs be thoroughly investigated.

I believe that hate speech and extremely offensive statements directed toward the relative of a martyr should be punished with the harshest penalties under the game’s rules, regardless of the player’s level, rank, or account value. I expect Riot Games to take urgent action regarding this matter.
