I Keep Getting Matched Against Higher Ranks in Valorant Despite Being Bronze

I’m seriously frustrated with Valorant’s ranked matchmaking system. I’m currently Bronze with a 47% win rate and pretty low MMR overall, yet the teams I get matched against make zero sense. In one game, I ended up playing against an actual Diamond 3 player. What is going on here?

It’s beyond infuriating that, as a Bronze 3 player, I can be thrown into a match against four Gold-ranked players. How is this fair in any way? Is this because I play on weekend mornings? If that’s the case, it’s a terrible excuse. The matchmaking feels completely broken.

On top of that, the smurfing and cheating problems are out of control. It’s impossible to climb when every other match feels rigged or unbalanced. Riot seriously needs to fix the matchmaking algorithm. This isn’t competitive—this is just punishing.

I’ve put in the time, I’ve played the matches, and I expect to be matched fairly. Enough is enough. Riot, you need to address this issue NOW and give us a matchmaking system that actually reflects skill and rank properly.
