Chronic Air Conditioning Issue in Renault Clio 4
I have a 2015 Clio 4, 1.5 dCi with only 130,000 kilometers on the clock. However, I am currently experiencing an ongoing issue with the vehicle's air conditioning system. The problem was diagnosed as a faulty compressor, which caused the air conditioning to work intermittently or not at all, making the summer months unbearable. After doing some research and consulting with private garages, I discovered that this is a common and chronic problem with these vehicles. It's unclear that a reputable company like Renault does not accept responsibility for manufacturing such problematic parts. Why should I have to deal with this recurring problem? They quoted a staggering 15,000 TL to fix the problem. This is outrageous, considering I paid the same price for a home air conditioner and now they want the same amount to repair a car part! They are adamant about replacing the entire air conditioning system, including the radiator. It's upsetting to see such low-quality parts installed in vehicles. Nobody would choose Renault if the car prices were prohibitively high. We bought it due to financial constraints, but it's now proving to be a bad decision. In my 30 years of experience, I have never encountered a car with such a persistent air conditioning problem. It's ironic that the air conditioning in a 30-year-old car works flawlessly, but Renault's vehicles struggle due to faulty compressors. I demand that this ongoing problem be resolved.
