Remax Agent Gave House To Another Buyer After Viewing Agreement

On 12.03.2026, I contacted a Remax sales officer in Istanbul regarding the sale of a house and we agreed on a viewing. Despite this clear agreement, I was later informed that someone else, who had not even seen the house, paid a deposit after me and that the house was given to them. I believe I was misled by the agent in this process and that my trust was abused. I did not make any payment such as a deposit or service fee; however, I lost serious time and opportunity because the house was effectively promised to me for viewing, and then I was suddenly told that it was given to another person with a deposit. I shared this situation with Remax Turkey, but the issue has not been resolved to my satisfaction. With this complaint, I request that the behavior of the relevant agent be examined, that the misleading practice I experienced be officially recognized, and that appropriate compensation be provided for my material and moral damages arising from the loss of opportunity and trust.
