The soles of Nike Sneakers  Bought from Rebel Sport Disintegrated While Waiting In the Closet

I purchased Nike Air Max shoes during covid years at Rebel Sport - large well known outlet. Left them in storage, in its box and when I went to put them on the sole disintegrated. ??? Never did it cross my mind that Nike produce poor quality shoes. When i approached Nike - i was given the run arounds. Speaking to the outlet, i was told best to take it up with Nike corporate. Contacted them and they - in the end - refused to refund/replace due to eligibility terms. !!! To be clear they are not knock off's or stored in damp or anything like despite Nike initially implying that. All my other shoes eg Asics no issues. Seriously stay away from Nike.
