Realme GT2 Pro Green Line Appeared After Update, Warranty Expired But Issue Widely Reported

After installing the latest update on my Realme GT2 Pro, a green line appeared across the entire screen. I purchased this device on April 7, 2023, from the Adana M1 Media Markt store. The warranty has now expired.
It is frustrating that a defect appearing right after a software update is not acknowledged by the brand. When I searched on Google, I found dozens of reports of the exact same issue, which indicates it is a common and software-related fault. This gave me hope at first.
However, experiencing firsthand that Realme does not stand behind its devices—especially when the user is not at fault and the problem is triggered only by the official update—was very disappointing. At the Adana KVK service center, I was told I would have to pay for a screen replacement, which made the situation even worse.
The phone, which I purchased as a flagship model, has now become unusable. This issue damages the brand’s reputation, and I request that Realme acknowledge it.
I demand that the device be repaired free of charge at the service center, or alternatively, that the amount listed on my invoice be refunded. Otherwise, I will pursue my rights legally, as this product clearly constitutes a defective good.
