I live alone. Around 2022, I bought all brand-new appliances to set up my home. I was originally looking at brands like Arçelik for white goods, but I was advised to buy Profilo instead—"Go for something good while you're at it, it's German-made, and you'll use it for years even after you get married." So, I went with a 10 kg washing machine. From the day it was installed, it constantly gave water-related errors. I called for service multiple times. They told me the water pressure in the house was low and advised me to pour a kettle of water into the machine before starting it. I might have even written a complaint about this earlier. I later moved to a different house and had a plumber check the water pressure—it was high. Still, the Profilo service said it was low. The machine also made a clicking noise when switching to the spin cycle, even when it was brand new, and when I told them, they said it was "normal." Nothing has been fixed to this day, and I’m still pouring in water manually.

During this time, I spent two years in prison, so the machine wasn’t used at all. I was released about 3–5 months ago. A month later, the machine started making loud banging noises while running. All in all, I haven’t even used it for a year. The warranty expired just three months ago, and the service quoted me ₺5,000 for repairs—shock absorbers and so on. Other than t-shirts and pants, no heavy loads were ever washed. Come and inspect it if you like.

The reason I’m writing this in such detail is because I now expect the brand to stand behind its product. If I file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee, I’m confident I’ll win—the machine not being used for two years can be proven. What kind of situation is this? It’s like I’ve had a toxic relationship with a washing machine. Good luck to you.
