Poloniex Blocking My Coins for Over a Year: No Compensation for Losses Due to Wallet Update
For months—possibly even a year—Poloniex has blocked my coins, halting all transactions under the guise of a wallet update. As a result, my coins, which were expected to gain value, have remained stagnant due to being labeled as 'disabled.' When I reached out to a representative, I was met with a dismissive response: "We understand your frustration regarding the downtime, but we will not compensate for your loss. As stated in Section 11 of our User Agreement: 'You acknowledge and accept the risk of operational challenges. Poloniex may experience sophisticated cyber attacks, unexpected surges in activity, or other operational or technical difficulties that could cause service interruptions. You understand that operational issues that delay service may occur. You accept the risk of transaction failures resulting from unforeseen or increased technical difficulties, including those resulting from sophisticated attacks. You agree not to hold Poloniex responsible for any related losses.'"
It's frustrating and unacceptable that Poloniex hides behind policy clauses while users suffer losses due to their prolonged operational issues. I trusted this platform, and I’m seeking accountability and a resolution to regain access to my coins and potential earnings.
