Masteredu AI AutoPay Deducted Without Consent – Refund Request
On 17 July 2026, an amount of ₹599 was automatically debited from my Union Bank of India account via the PhonePe app in favour of Masteredu AI through an AutoPay subscription mandate that I did not knowingly set up. The PhonePe transaction screen clearly shows a successful payment of ₹599 to Masteredu AI with transaction ID OLEX2607170711568790800*** and UTR number 6999687289***. I never intentionally authorised any recurring AutoPay or monthly subscription for Masteredu AI. At most, I had approved a previous one‑time transaction, and it appears that a recurring AutoPay mandate was created in the background without my clear and informed consent. As soon as I realised this, I went into my UPI settings and cancelled and deleted the AutoPay mandate so that no further debits can be made. I request that the ₹599 taken on 17 July 2026 be fully refunded to my Union Bank of India account and that any subscription or hidden AutoPay arrangement linked to my profile with Masteredu AI be permanently cancelled and removed from your systems. I also ask you to confirm in writing that no further charges will be made to my account under any circumstances without my explicit and informed consent.
